v1 demo link problems

Hi I have just installed for trial and ran demo on my site. Install script for database runs OK and home page appears but all links give 404 fails with not found /demo/login path. I note files referenced are in demo/page/ folder?

Any suggestions what I have done wrong?

Hello John,

The demo depends on Apache and its mod_rewrite module to be enable. This are a very common setup.

Are you using an nginx server by any chance?

I do have apache and will confirm mod-rewrite is installed as it will deploy on lighttpd later
