uFlash was once founded as a Flash developers' group. As only a few still use Flash professionally, we're shifting focus to game development topics, including Flash in gaming, game architecture, Unity3D and many others. December's meeting will kick off this new direction with a software giveaway and some great presentations.

Tom Beatty will start us off with his presentation on Stage3D (recently presented at the Utah Indie Games group). We'll break for the semi-annual Adobe software raffle of value up to $2100, and for our grand prize, and to commemorate the transition from a Flash Platform User Group, we will raffle off an unused copy of Future Splash Animator (see picture). We will end the meeting with a presentation from Dustin Graham on how Rain (our host) has been involved in gaming and some of his experiences.

The meeting is at Rain's offices: 686 East 110 South, Suite 102, American Fork, UT 84003

Beginning at 7pm going through 8:30pm on Dec 13th, with food arriving early

Please RSVP on the website: uflash.groups.adobe.com

I've been informed that no group member will appreciate Future Splash like Rob Taylor. This is a historically significant software (I think it's next to the Apple 2E in the window of the Antique shop of Back to the Future 2 ;)

If no one cares about this giveaway we can reserve it for Rob at the door. I only hope the fish we once raffled off had as much love and care.

ps there will be no fish at this meeting

Beta, the fish I won, lived a long life of approx. 11 months. The kids did enjoy feeding him and he seemed to enjoy his short time with our family.
