I have been quietly following the progress of Loom over the course of its development and have been impressed with the design choices they've made. It's worth having a look at if you're involved with any sort of game development.

Hello fellow Loom-inary,

We are delighted to announce that Loom is now available to the public!

Loom Indie Licenses are normally $500, but to share the Loom love, and to thank all our supporters, we are giving away Loom Indie Licenses for free for the next 32 days - through the end of GDC.

Visit http://theengine.co/ to sign up and claim your license. If you are already in the beta, your account has been credited with your free license.

If you're sick of huge download footprints, bad performance, painful licensing restrictions, and closed source, we think you will find Loom a refreshing change.

Loom is a native mobile game engine, featuring live reload of code and assets, a familiar AS3-like scripting language, and an efficient command line workflow. Develop on Mac and Windows, and deploy to Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS. It comes with full C++ source code. For more information about Loom, visit http://theengine.co/.

If you like Loom, tell your friends so they can get their own free license!

Thank you for your interest and support.

Cheers,
Nate, Josh, Jeremy, AJ, and Ben
The Loom Team
