Hey guys,

Below is an email about the student elections. We have fellow AASU members who would like to plug for the next meeting. I'm not sure if this would be an issue, but since it has to do with politics and whatnot I thought I'd just run it by you guys just in case! What do you guys think? I'm indifferent about them plugging..

Hello!

My name is Megan Huynh and I am currently a Senator in Student Government. I, along with Christina Chan-Pong and Rachel Chang, have slated with the Swamp Party and will be running for a Senate seat for the Spring 2013 election season.

Elections will be held on February 19^th and 20^th. In order to raise awareness about the upcoming elections, Christina, Rachel, and I would like to speak at your student organization’s upcoming meeting. We will be emphasizing the importance of voting in UF student government elections and how APIA support can make a difference in these elections.

Please let us know as soon as possible if we will be able to plug at your meeting. I have attached a PowerPoint slide for our plug. If we are not able to plug, please let us know how we can still get the word out to your organization members about elections. I appreciate the support and I look forward to hearing from you.
