universal field guide application - version 9.9.1 released

Version 9.9.1 of the universal field guide is now available from the
applications page at

http://eduneer.com/applications.html

Changes:
-- initialized audio checks to all clear
-- added a binary version of the symbol to class, photo, motif, and
video databases to speed up linking
-- added an example secondary common name (Rufous-sided Towhee) to
class database
-- duplicated hierarchy name in common name and scientific name fields
of class database (to simplify and speed up display code)
-- added alternate common name etymology display
-- fixed link error message by including the topic subdirectory in the
description of the path to the link.txt error log file

Comment:
There is not much that is visibly new in this release. Most of these
changes were made to synchronize the Palm databases with the Android
databases in order to help with testing and maintenance.
