The multimedia encryption and the SD card directory structure were
changed in the conversion from Peck to UFG. So using the UFG
application to access an SD card that is setup for the Peck
application will result in problems with UFG's presentation of text
and multimedia.
To start over with the Peck application,
-- delete the UFG application (using the Palm OS 'App/Delete' menu
item),
-- delete the Peck application (using the Palm OS 'App/Delete' menu
item),
-- reinstall the Peck application (by running peck-Installer.prc).
To start using the UFG application,
-- delete the Peck application (using the Palm OS 'App/Delete' menu
item),
-- delete the UFG application (using the Palm OS 'App/Delete' menu
item),
-- backup your SD card (in case you want to return to using the Peck
application),
-- delete all the Peck files on your SD card (in the /eduneer
directory, if I recall correctly),
-- download and copy the UFG multimedia files to your SD card,
-- install the UFG application (by running ufg-Installer.prc).
I hope that helps.

There is no expiration/time-out implemented in the Peck application so
it is possible to continue using the Peck application even though I'm
no longer supporting it. By the way, the Peck user group at
http://groups.google.com/group/peckpalm is still up and running in
case Peck users want to support each other.
The UFG multimedia that works with the UFG application is available at
http://eduneer.com/topic_mm.html. However, because of the pending
release of Tangled (Tangled will replace UFG as UFG replaced Peck), I
recommend that you get your version of the Peck application running
again and upgrade to Tangled when it is released. I have no release
date in mind: I will not release the Palm OS version of Tangled before
the Android version.
I hope that helps.

thanks. so, the last peck-installer I have is from 1/2/08. Does that
matter? I thought Peck had been phased out/discontinued- is that not
the case? I have the multimedia files on my SD for Peck. Those don't
work with UFG? What media does work with that? I'm not sure which of
the choices you provided make the most sense for me.
