1.FSA's Def Talent Jam Committee: DTJ is a region-wide dance competition hosted by UFFSA where sister FSA organizations compete to earn money for their organization. Being that this is UFFSA's largest event of the year, it would be practically impossible to host this event without an awesome committee working behind the scenes! That's where YOU come in!! 3. AASU Chair Positions: The Asian American Student Union is looking to complete their board for the 2013-2014 year, and are opening applications for seven chair positions! If you want to help make a difference in the APIA community here at UF, this is definitely the opportunity for you! The applications are open to any UF Students (That means you freshies!), and will be due september 9th (Next Monday), so get to it!

4. AKM Pageant Applications/: The Mr. and Miss AASU Scholarship Pageant Show has been part of Asian Kaleidoscope Month (AKM) since its inception. The pageant features motivated and hardworking individuals within the Asian American Student Union (AASU) at the University of Florida, who will compete to become the face of this year's philanthropy, Love146. This year's theme for pageant is "Portrait of a Legend". During the show, contestants will 'paint' a self portrait of their unique Asian-American identities through cultural dance, speech, talent, and evening wear/philanthropy. This year's pageant will be Monday, October 7th, 2013, in the Grand Ballroom of the J. Wayne Reitz Union. If you feel you have what it takes to showcase your identity through performance and speech, and don't mind winning some cash in the process, applications can be found in the link below, which will be due september 7th (Next sunday), at 11:59pm.
