Hi AIESECers,
This time the opportunity is in Egypt, the land of culture, AIESEC GUC
is signing with a great translation company for a huge project that
will include people from 12 different countries ...

Native speakers of Spanish, Italian, German, French, Polish, Czech,
Japanese, Mandarine Chinese, Danish, Hungarian, Russian and Dutch are
needed as :

1.    Translators
They carry out all translation tasks in the Project and other related
tasks when needed. Typical responsibilities include the following:
1.     Report to the Project Manager
2.     Do all translation tasks assigned to them
3.     Develop Project-specific glossaries and translation memories
4.     Ensure highest possible accuracy, consistency and quality of
their translations
5.     Revise their own translations before delivery to the Language Editor
6.     Share in team out-door social activities
7.     Contribute to experience sharing sessions / workshops

Qualifications:
•       Native speaker of the target language
•       Excellent Research and ICDL skills
•       Teamwork-oriented
Salary: USD 550 (net after taxes)

2.    Language Editors
They serve as a final eye on all translations carried out in the
company. Typical responsibilities include the following:
1.     Report to the Project Manager
2.     Revise and edit translated material (software, help,
documentation, manuals, etc.)
3.     Run linguistic tests and QA for all files before delivery
4.     Report on translation quality, style, accuracy and professionalism
5.     Help in preparing and approving translation memories and glossaries
6.     Share in team out-door social activities
7.     Contribute to experience sharing sessions / workshops

Qualifications:
•       Native speaker of the target language
•       Excellent Research and ICDL skills
•       Teamwork-oriented

Salary: USD 650 (net after taxes)
Personal Workspace, Computers and Internet Access are provided and the
project will start on the 15th of November.
