CASA Weekly Updates 01/26/14

Greetings. Thank you to everyone who came out to our Chinese New Year show last night. It was a huge success thanked to the effort everyone involved. We hope you guys enjoyed yourself and look forward to seeing you all again at future CASA shows. And even though one of our biggest events is over, we still have plenty of other events planned for you. Here's just a few for this upcoming week.

1. CASA's 2nd Spring GBM: Unzipping the Chinese American Influence

The first Chinese American arrived in the United States around early 19th century. Since then, the population of Chinese Americans had grown to make up around 25% of Asian Americans. With a long history of almost 200 years, many Chinese Americans had left their marks in almost every aspects of this nation's history. Come join us at our next general body meeting as we present to you the history, contributions, and achievements of Chinese Americans, past and present. And afterward, come have fun with us and our FSA and KUSA friends at Skate Station. Who knows? Maybe you will find your passion there and be on your way to becoming the next Chinese American icon.
