 Greetings. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Here is the updates for this upcoming week.  
 
 
1. CASA 3rd Spring GBM: The Royal Wedding
You are cordially invited to attend the wedding of our beloved Madame President, Anna Chen, to a mysterious suitor at CASA's 3rd Spring General Body Meeting. In honor of your presence, we will present to you the traditions and customs of the centuries-old ceremony, including the tea ceremony, the celebratory feast, and other practices. We hope you will be able to join us for this happy union.

2. CASA Spring Big/Little Application
 
Did you not get Big/Little in the Fall? Or are you simply new to CASA? Either way, consider signing up for our Big/Little program. It is a mentorship program that allows you to help or be helped (by) another student with the transition to UF, from academics to social involvement. From the testimony of our members, it is a very useful program that has allowed people to form meaningful relationships, what they call "a family away from home." If this is something that interest you, please consider signing up for a Big or Little this semester. The deadline for application is Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 11:59 PM.

3. CASA Sport Games of the Week
 
*** This is a new segment in the listserv to inform all members of our weekly sport games. Please come out to support the teams. You may be eligible to win our Spirit Award (criteria: attend at least 2 GBMs and 10 games) and receive a prize during CASA Formal. ***

Survey of Florida International Students
Are you an international student here at the University of Florida? Are you pursuing or have already earned an undergraduate degree at UF? If you answer yes to all the questions above, please consider filling out the survey below. Peter Marber, a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, is conducting research on the motivation of international students to pursue an undergraduate degree oversea as well as their reasons for choosing their schools. All survey participants will received $5 Starbucks or Amazon gift card and will be automatically entered for a chance to win an Apple iPad.
