Good evening, everyone. Thank you to those of you who went to CASA/KUSA Camping, and I hope you all enjoyed the outdoor air and activities. And, we have these special events for you in the upcoming week:
1. CASA 7th GBM: Betcha Didn't Know!
Did you know that one in five people in the world is Chinese? Yes? Great! You know your trivia. No? That's okay, not everyone can remember random statistics about China. But, there is an opportunity for you to learn more interesting things about this country that has an extremely long and rich history (which means it just has so many more things that the world don't know about it). Come out to our final Fall GBM as we present to you fresh, fun facts about China, its history, culture, and tradition. Then, join us for our fun and active dance workshop after-social, taught by Alexis Jennings (African Student Union dance troupe and former CASA choreographer), and Ian Aranca and McKay Lodliemphrachanh of Apocalypse Dance Crew (Soulfest 2013 winner).

2. CASA Hot Pot Semi-Formal 2013: An Autumn Feast
CASA cordially invites you to our Semi-Formal 2013: Autumn Feast. This year's semi-formal will be hot pot style. If you don't know what it is, hot pot is a traditional East Asian style of stews in which fresh ingredients are cooked on the spot; and it is the perfect meal for the cold weather. This is our last event for the year so we'll be wrapping up the semester with recaps all Fall events. I hope you can join us for a night of good food, bonding, and lots of memories.*** Ticket is $8/person (for UNLIMITED hot pot) and will go on sale starting on Monday, November 18th in the SAI Office (Reitz 3rd floor).Date & Time: Friday, 11/22; 6 - 9 PMLocation: The Polos Clubhouse

5. Miscellaneous
Corporate Sustainability Communication Research Study Participant Recruitment
The UF Department of Public Relations and College of Journalism and Communications are conducting a study (IRB #2013-U-1300) about corporate sustainability communication, and they are looking for both American and Chinese participants. The study involves viewing organizations' websites and answering surveys, and will last no longer than 30 minutes. A $5 compensation will be provided to all participants.
