UF Rocket Team meetings this week

Hi Rocket Team,

Here is a list of workshops and meetings we will be having this week:

Tuesday, Oct. 12th @ 7:20 p.m. in MAE-B229 - Solid Motor Theory
Workshop by Jimmy Yawn (same guy that showed us how to build sugar
motors this past Saturday) After this we will have a short discussion
of 1)whether or not NASA has selected us for the USLI competition and
2) what each team will be working on for the Preliminary Design Review
(PDR - Due Nov. 19th)

Thursday, Oct 14th @ 8:00 p.m. in MAE-B229 - Stability/Aerodynamics
group meeting. All members are welcome if they are interested in
Stability/Aerodynamics. We will be discussing the tasks in detail that
the groups will be working on before the PDR.

Friday, Oct 15th @ 4:30 p.m. in MAE-B229 - Electronics/Avionics group
meeting. All members are welcome if they are interested in Electronics/
Avionics. Josh Childs, Electrical Engineering Graduate, will help us
finalize the payload budget so we can start ordering payload
components and will also go over the payload system.




Then next week:

Tuesday, Oct. 19th @ 7:20 p.m. in MAE-B229 - Electronics Bay
Construction by Rich Laffoon (TA for Aero Design 1). Spefically for
those interested in Structures. All members are welcome.
