Happy Thursday Green Teamers!
In the spirit of the upcoming One Less Car Day, I wanted to share with everyone a quick “How To Zimride” guide for those of you who might not have created a profile yet. Or if you have a profile but would like to encourage others in your department or office to do so, you might find this pdf I’ve attached helpful. As a recap, Zimride is a carpooling “ride-posting” service we use to help commuters find rides or drivers to find passengers to share fuel costs with (and reduce individual carbon footprints!).
Thanks to all those who stopped by and visited us last Thursday morning at our Bike To Breakfast event; it was well attended with around 60 people signing up to pledge to be One Less Car this year on Oct. 23rd.
Next week we are off to the annual AASHE conference to swap, share, and learn about sustainability at other institutions of higher education. Look for an email next week with some exciting and interesting ideas that we’ve brought back from the conference!
Best,
