I just wanted to invite everyone to spread the word about this
Thursday’s Alternative Transportation Fair from 11AM – 1PM at the Plaza of the Americas.
Below is the official word that you can use to email, re-send, tweet or
facebook as much as you’d like. We’ll have One Less Car t-shirts available for those that are interested in signing up for October’s OLC Day.
Learn about your transportation options at the Alternative Transportation Fair on August 29. From 11am – 1pm on the Plaza of the Americas. UF’s Office of Sustainability will host community organizations that can help you get around faster and cheaper, including biking, buses, carpool options and Zipcar. Gators will interact with a variety of information, activities, and demonstrations on alternative modes of transportation and highlight the benefits of using them. The fair also kicks off the 2013 One Less Car initiative which encourages students, faculty, and staff to use alternative transportation for daily commutes, but especially on One Less Car Day – October 23.
