Dear Green Teamers,
Don’t forget before you leave this holiday break to help reduce unnecessary plug loads and energy usage by checking in your offices for the following:
Turn down the heat if you can. Some thermostats that you are able to adjust should be turned down to 62.
Shut off power strips, computers, monitors, printers, faxes & copiers. If you have coffee makers, microwaves and other appliances, unplug them so that any “phantom loads” can be eliminated.
Turn off what you can’t unplug, and make sure all lights are off if you are the last to leave.
And best of all,
enjoy your time off!
