So as lots of you are aware of we get an OVER abundance of catalogs. The pharmacy team has discussed just how much of these catalogs go through our mail systems and then straight through to the recycle bins. A lot of vendors require a letter of sorts to the vendor on behalf of each recipient of the catalog which in some cases may be quite a few. With the creation of the new myUF Market the participating vendors will have their catalogs online. Now, what was suggested to me was if there was in some way that vendors that are on myUF market almost be required NOT to send us paper catalogs? Of course the people who do not use muUF market can still get them. We are just trying to figure out a way to lessen or stop a very large waste process. Any ideas or suggestions?
