• Google has released over 1,200 codebases and well over 25 million lines of code as open source. More than 40,000 open source projects are active on Google Code every month.
• Since 2003, Google has answered 450 billion new unique search queries -- queries we have not answered before.
• In the Chrome browser, a task that took a minute to complete in JavaScript a year ago now happens in less than a second.

... and UF Alums have contributed to such achievements! We have enormous goals to accomplish and we need great people to help us keep achieving such incredible feats. Google technical recruiters will be on campus on Monday, September 26 and Tuesday, September 27 and would like to meet you! 

CISE Career Development Workshop

Where: Touchdown Terrace at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

What: Engineers and recruiters from Google will be chatting with students interested in learning more about opportunities at Google. 

Lightning Talks & Interview Workshop

When: Tuesday, September 27 from 5:30-7pm

Where: MAEB-211

What: Join us for an evening of lightning talks from UF alumni, Erin Boykin, Brendan Dhein, Yan Li, on their work and experiences at Google. They will also be sharing tips on how to navigate through technical interviews. Food and swag will also be available.
