Salam all,

I regret, but its true. things like this are happening, but interestingly, we have seen such cases with some senior fellows. Following are some of the points to consider:

a- If you are applying in a company, you should know something about it. Means, you should have a clear objective why are u applying in this company

b- You should have decided beforehand, what is your expectation as per salary? And if you have a much higher expectation, it should be backed by a strong & logical reason

c- Once you have quoted your expected salary, this would logically mean that if you are offered that much money by that company, you would be more than happy to join them. And if they offer you what you have asked for, and then you change your expectation, this is your fault and extremely unprofessional. In some cases though, it can be justified, but you would have to defend your decision in this case

d- When you are offered a job, enquire about each and everything before accepting the job. Like Annual leaves (sick, casual, earned), medical benefit, Provident fund, TA/DA, Late Work benefit, Bonus, Appraisals schedule, Car/bike/laptop policy etc. When you have got answers on your table, only then you would be in a better state to decide

e- If you are offered a job from some company, try to find someone who is working in the company, take input from him, ask him questions

Bottom Line:
Before taking a decision, think twice or thrice. Once you have taken a decision, dont look back

Take care

Hello All,

It is very good know that fresh UET-CS graduates are getting job. Some of you, I know, have got offers from multiple places.

But I have observed non professional behavior of few juniors who after accepting job offer back out. Frequency of such events spread bad reputation for UET graduates. This effects not only other fresh grads but also coming juniors.

So I encourage all fresh graduate to at least ask for opinion from their seniors before accepting offer.
