Salam!

Hope everyone is fine there, I am in KSA these days, I have to change my iqama profession to electrical engineer, my docs are attested form forign office Islamabad but not from Saudi Culture/Ambassy.

Any body knows the procedure to attest them? Is there any option to attest docs in Riyadh? Or I have to send them back to Pakistan for attestation? Do I have to attest all docs from Saudi Culture or just bachelors degree only?

And what is the process to get register with Saudi Council of Engineers?

Please guide me if anyone knows.

Regards

Dear All,

Our representative in S Arabia Mr. Mohammad Akram (cell nbr 058-324-7292) informs and replies on the subject as under:

1) If the documents are attested from Pakistani Foreign Offices (any where in the country) then on behalf of that attestation the Embassy or Consulate of Pakistan (Riyadh or Jeddah) attests the same documents.

2) After the attestation of the documents by Pakistan Embassy/Consulate one can get the same attested by the Saudi Foreign Office in Riyadh or other offices but you are advised to get all such documents translated in Arabic by approved Translators by Saudi Govt. and go for attestation to Saudi Foreign Offices with translated ones also as you may need the translation at any further stage such as applying for registration as an engineer or applying for family visas.

3) To register yourself as an engineer in S Arabia, you should follow the online given instructions through the website of:
Saudi Council of Engineers, like the following and of course you may have to download the registration form and fill it and submit it with the copies of your degrees, Iqama and your current sponsor's letter of request for registration + due fee. Here the point to note is that your Iqama profession, your sponsor (kafeel/company) and the letter written to Saudi Council of Engineers for registration should bear valid entries, date of expiry, profession and of course sponsor in Iqama should also be the same one.:

Best wishes.
