Sunday Ride

When: tomorrow 9:30am. 

Start: UEFR. 

Where to: Sauvie Island. Loops and out and backs as desired. 

Pace: Endurance

We had a great showing this morning. 11 riders total. About half the group peeled off after 1 lap around the island. The other half completed another loop and did some pace line practice on the section going into the wind. 

This will be the default Sunday route for the next 2 months. If the weather is really nice, we may alter the route. We'll let everyone know in advance when we do. Otherwise, we'll work our way up to 2 loops and the out and backs. The pace is steady to Sauvie and the first full loop around. We stop at the store after completing a full loop. The second loop, including the dead ends on both sides of the island, are spirited and may include some sprints. 

Either Joe or I will lead the ride. We're leaving UEFR at 9:30 sharp (ish). We pass the store on Sauvie around 9:50. That's another place to join if you're coming from over the hill or don't like riding dirty 30. Unlike the Saturday ride which is team only, Sunday is open. Bring your friends.

Excellent!  And no one got struck by lightning!  Anyone go play in the mud at Krugers?
