I'm planning on doing a mtb ride: Tillimook Forest
If that sounds appealing. Probably 3 hours or so...

Sorry, I have to work Sat.  I may ride Sunday or do a trail run.

Hi folks--especially John Kenny, Jeff Parker, and Brian Marcroft--

My wife and I are taking the tandem to Hood River (don't ask why) for a couple days for our 20th anniversary tomorrow and Wednesday.  I'd like to do to loop to Lost Lk +/- the climb after Lolo Pass Rd, but can't remember the convoluted route out of town taken by you guys on previous team rides.  Could any of you locals give me a turn-by-turn sane way to leave from the coffee shop?  It would be greatly appreciated!  Also, any favorite restaurants for a special occasion?

Hi Luis,
I'm out of town.  For restaurants, I think Celilo http://www.celilorestaurant.com/?no_redirect=true is the nicest, most romantic in town.  If I were taking Marcroft on a date, that's where I'd take him ;)
I'm out of town, so I'll not at my computer to give you turn by turn directions, but I'm sure one of these guys can fill you in.  Have fun!

I would defiantly put out after a meal at Celilo.

Lake branch hasn't been cleared and the roads are nasty from gravel all the way out there. I did see that the main road is up to lost lake. I can do a map for you if you really want to go out there. An east side ride in the sun might be funner though.

Thanks, Brian--an E side ride sounds nice, as does the one we did north of the river in Washington last year--was it near the Klickitat?  Any suggestions/routes are welcome.
