Dear Utah Pythonistas,
Guru Labs is organizing a development workshop on November 6, 2014 at 4:00 pm.
We'll
be talking about "Asynchronous and Parallel Programming in Python."
We'll look at the differences between applying synchronous versus
asynchronous techniques and a few of the various Python frameworks which
help facilitate this type of development (asyncio, Twisted, and
Celery). Because this is a workshop, there will be time for hands-on
activities and discussion. In particular, we'll try and highlight when
you might want to use one framework over another (and even cases when
they might be used together). The presenter will be Cameron Hartmann,
who is one of the Guru Labs developers.

The event will be held at the Guru Labs offices:
1148 Legacy Crossing Blvd #200
Centerville, UT 84014
(our offices are located right off the Centerville exit directly adjacent to the Larry H. Miller Megaplex theater)
