umang confusion create ho raha hai..problem toh milti hai but not big
one,and GTU ko bol ke specify kare ke unhe kis tarah ke problem
chaiye...pata chala hum jo laye toh bole yeh nahi chalega and
all...aftrwards we wont be again allowed to this industries.... seems
GTU is creating a joke out here with us :O

@sunil, ya u r right. but the thing is that we should keep in mind
that, we will be doing this project work for 11 months.so it has to be
good and big enough to score more grades. although it all depends on
u.
And important thing is that, it should be related to our field and the
department, under which u will get an IDP.
Certainly yes, we are the first batch of gtu it such things will
occur, and our professors will also be our helping hands so don't
bother about it dude.....

sir...i m from computer..the problem is that company are ready to give us problem but they are saying that we have to work for them atleast more than 1 month ..
then we have asked about the problem statement only then they said that they will only give problem statemnet if the group is limited to only 3 students. and  also this student doesnt have privilidge to say anything about the defintaion of the problem statment to others. ???
they said that its theier idea behinad the problem statemnet so it must not be revelaed to others//

what can we do ?

I think you can proceed with your problem definitition from the company with three students. Ask company to give the schedules on week end for work at company premises. Further, we can keep the secrecy of the work what you are doing. Only for examination purpose it should be allowed to disclose to examiners.
 
There will be guide from the institute for your project along with person from the company.
