I'm making a python script that should turn off the WIFI on windows.I've tried searching on google, but all I could find is to disconnect from a specific WIFI. And that's not what I want, Because if you on another computer and you run the same script, it probably wont turn off your WIFI because you don't have the same WIFI as the person who wrote the script.
@OussD After a lot of research, the problem is usually solved by resetting the bios to default, mainly on dell laptops. The problem is caused after doing bios update or installing windows 11.
Also don't forget to install the updated drivers.
This netcut just work fine on windows xp and windows 7,
it doesn't work with windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
You can install on that version of windows, you can cut someboby through installed netcut on that windows, but the target still connect ?
trust me. it does'nt work in windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
- Reboot, hit F12 while Dell logo, to get to EPS Safe Screen for Hardware scan. This was to check for device/hardware issues.
- Ran diagnostics, all my tests past, click exit.
- Do a full restart, meaning go back to Windows. Once logged into windows, restart again.
- On Dell logo, now hit F2 to go to BIOS setup (NOT F12 as done earlier).
- She noted wrong location, but for my new XPS13, the 'load defaults' was on bottom, slightly to the left, click it.
- Click BIOS defaults (NOT factory defaults), click ok.
- Say ya we good, hit ok again.
- Then one more OK for good measure to exit/restart.
Today I had a dell tech come replace my system board, as my laptop was presenting many Blue screens to freeze ups and Red blue green white screen on boot up, Wifi was an issue too and I would keep uninstalling via device manager and it will work later which was annoying, but speak of the weasel my wifi card stopped working again with this new system board and I had to use windows 10 trouble shoot feature and shut down the computer and turn it back on, now it is working and showing networks, I had to reenter my password though. I hope its doesn't continue as I already got the system board replaced today!
Did you ever wonder why WiFi signal on your terrace can be so horribly bad, but in the room just a foot away it is excellent? If you have metallic blinds in that room, then you may have your answer. Metallic blinds will diminish your WiFi signal. Add to that a double pane of windows with metallic blinds and you may find your WiFi router not doing the job.
One could go around the home removing mirrors, knocking down walls, pulling up the blinds and keeping windows open to help give your WiFi a fighting chance, but there is a more elegant solution with Plume Pods. Improving the WiFi coverage requires more WiFi access points spread out in each room of the home. This gives your WiFi enough oomph to power through the mirror or better yet go around it through the hallway Plume Pod.
I have a Toshiba SATELLITE P755-S5262 running on windows 10.
I have an Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000 wifi card.
My wifi has the exact same symptoms as described above.
I want to know if there is an alternative solution to the problem that does not require me taking out the card.
If not, do I follow the exact same procedure on my specific wifi card or is it in any way different.
Thanks a lot for your help.
The problem is that there is no hardware button provided on machine, this happens when Linux suspends after inactivity or on lid being closed. This is definitely an issue with Linux because windows OS shows no such issues.
I was literally on the verge of a full mental breakdown before finding this, fixed both windows and linux wifi problems. I am ever so grateful for people like you figuring out how to control the evil computer faeries who ruin my wifi. You can pat yourself on the back for preventing a potential suicide. :)
so i got the Kali iso loaded on a usb stick,it says to reboot now and select the usb option to boot from when my laptop starts....problem,theres is no reboot from usb option in the start up screen on my laptop. All that is there is windows 7 and a previous attempt to load backtrack that I can't seem to remove, damian or something like that.Any ideas on what i can do?
The keyboard firmware itself had some quirks on its own: the defaultkeyboard firmware would not process key chords with the Pine Key (theWindows Key) and the arrow keys, which is frustrating if you use thatcombination to move windows around the screen (as I do). Also, the NumLock function was triggered by the Print Screen key (not the Num Lockkey). That said, I was able to download new keyboardfirmwareand it fixed both problems.
Use wifikill for pc and restrict wifi data and also prank by restrict Data connection. Hope you like this article by knowing how to download wilfikill for pc windows. if you are a Windows 10 user then you can also Download WiFiKill for Windows 10 PC. If you have any questions regarding this software then feel free to Comment below.
Now we are going to do the same thing , but with PC . Now , how cool is that ! ? .A small software utility called NetCut (popularly known as Wifikill for PC) does the same thing which the wifikill app does. But the only problem with that wifikill is that you need a rooted phone . This utility NETCUT works in Windows 7 , windows 8 and 8.1 .

All the solutions I've managed to google up requires me to reboot my machine either way so I am here to ask if anyone out there who is more adept at "dealing with windows" has any tips or advice on a way I could solve this.
Before starting the scan double-click on any blank area of the Fern home screen to bring up the Access Point Scan Preferences screen. You can set the channel option to scan a single channel or leave it at the default All Channels. One nice feature is to check the Enable XTerms option which will have Fern open up the Terminal windows during its usage to see what the program is doing in the background. Click OK when done.
Two Terminal windows will open; one showing the WEP enabled networks (no screen shot), and another showing the WPA enabled networks. The top part of the WPA Scan Terminal window shows the networks being found, and the lower part shows any connected client devices. For a WPA attack to work it requires a connected client. The most important part of the attack will kick the client off the wireless network and capture the 4-way handshake when the client device re-authenticates to the network. If the network you want to pentest has no connected client your out of luck!
