Udaan: Logo Design and Tag Line

Hi,

Calling out to showcase the Creative Genius in you !

Its been an enriching 1.5 + years since we proudly embarked on our journey. As we know, we got registered in between, are in the process of opening a bank account etc. Now to attract more like-minded members, we feel a logo and tag line for our organization would be helpful.

All are invited to come up with suggestions. Some guidelines to be followed -

1) The logo may be sent across as an image (preferable) or a write up which may be subsequently converted.

2) Explanation is a must.

Members who are good at designing are requested to come forward please.

Please send across your views and suggestions at the very earliest.

This is a bit hard to explain but the logo goes something like this,
A boy (his silhoutte) jumping with a arm in the air, and two hands(palms) coming from behind, so as to form his wings.
Some one with photoshop skills can do a great job at this.

Let me try putting words to my thought a bit -

Logo Description - The Sun rising amidst the Himalayas (mountains) in the background. In the foreground, Birds flying towards the sun and children rising towards the Sun.

Explanation - Sun is the Light of Knowledge (gyaan jyoti). The mountains in the background set up a village scenario. Children are trying to acquire this light of knowledge. The Birds in flight represents us, trying to take children to the Light of Knowledge.

The visual of above is encircled in a Oval.

I cant seem to think of a tag line as of now. I think, it will be good to avoid english here.

hi guys..... all ur ideas are awesum jst one thing i wud like to say.....is that the logo shud b very simple.....more simple more better........it shud b so simple that cud b drawn by any of us.....Jst an idea

Hi guys,

Some of my friends I have talked may be ready to give some donations provided we give them the pamphlets of our ngo.
THe donations they make here will be eligible for incoem tax benefits provided we give them receipts and we have proper bank ac for our ngo.

@Amit: Thanks. This thread serves a different purpose though. We are trying to have a logo on the pamphlets mentioned by you.
Regarding IT benefits, we would be able to provide you more info, but let that be in a new thread.
