Hi everyone,
Would someone who got their New York State license enlighten me as to how one can obtain it without having worked for 36 weeks, 12 hours a week??
I would really appreciate your help!

Whoever has one they'd like to share I'd appreciate it
Thank you!

U need to fill out paperwork for an 'interim' license. And then they have to approve your CF. U hand in ur hours and then at the end they grant you your real license

Hi Sarala:

You cant get your complete NY state license till you finish your CFY. So before you start working in NY you fill out a few forms, get it notarized, send in your Praxis scores and have UC send in one thing all to NY state office. Then you can start a job anywhere that will take CFYers and you have them fill out a form (4A?) and send that it in to NY state license office and you can work no prob till you complete your CFY.

Make sense? And I think you just have to work a minimum of 12 hrs. a week for that to count toward your CFY according to ASHA.

Hatzlacha.

Where are you now? Where do you live?

Cuz according to asha you can work a minimum of 5 hours a week for it to count for cfy
