Grant Dorsey MD, MPH, PhD
Dr. Grant Dorsey is
Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. His research interests include clinical and
molecular studies of antimalarial drug resistance and the epidemiology of
malaria, and also interactions between HIV and malaria. He is currently the
principal investigator of several projects pertaining to HIV and malaria in Uganda
and is a part of the Makere University-UCSF collaborative project. Dr.
Dorsey went to medical school at the Southwestern
Medical Center
in Dallas, Texas and completed his medicine residency
at UCSF. He received his MPH and PhD in
Epidemiology from UC Berkeley.
