Hi UCSF Global Health Interest Group,

I am a second year medical student at the University of Central Florida.  I am writing to you because I would like to invite the UCSF students to our Global Health Conference on Refugee Health at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  

I would really appreciate it if you would kindly forward out the following message to your school.  I have attached the flyer to this email as well and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  

The Third Annual Global Health Conference at the University of Central Florida is occurring on February 1st, 2014. The focus of this year’s conference is on Refugee Health. 

The conference features Dr. Rick Hodes, a finalist for “CNN Heroes,” as the keynote speaker. In addition, a refugee panel composed of members from six different countries will be present. Participants will engage in several simulations, including a triage simulation where they will have to assess patients in the setting of a natural disaster. Several workshops led by experts in refugee health will also be available.
