Using the thesis template with overleaf, compile times with biblatex

Hi all,

First - thank you to the folks who created this template and have been working to update/maintain it!

Has anyone tried to write their thesis using overleaf instead of texlive etc?

I've only added one chapter and its references so far and I've hit the compile time limit in overleaf. This doesnt happen if I remove the bibliography. 

I'm using biblatex.

Has anyone else had issues with  compile times due to the addition of references?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I have recently finished my thesis using this template on overleaf and it works fine. I did not encounter any issues related to compile time.
