Exam 4 had a multiple choice question about the rules governing condiiotnal proof. The question was:

At what point are you allowed, according to the rules, to close a conditional proof?

And the answer I was looking for was

"Whenever you want."

However, after looking back at how I worded the rules in the text, a couple of students have convinced me that

"When you have derived the consequent of the conclusion’s conditional."

should also be accepted as a legit answer.

So, if on Exam 4 you selected "When you have derived the consequent of the conclusion’s conditional" and it was marked wrong, we will give you points for that.

How should you get those points?

Bring your exam in to my office hours on Friday (tomorrow), or next week. Or bring it with you when you come in to take the final exam, either the early one or the late one. I'll then correct the grade sheet to reflect your additional points.

But you need to bring your exam, obviously, to verify that you actually lost points on that one.

Email me if you have any questions.

Rick
