Campaign for UC San Diego - Regional Celebration D.C.

UC Alumni Networking Night with UCDC Students

Date: Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Time: 6pm

Location: UCDC (1608 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036)

Each quarter, UCDC hosts a loosely structured event to maximize the interaction time between students and alumni. The evening will kick off with a talk by Professor Scott Talan. Following the talk, students and alumni will engage in our version of "speed networking" where alumni will sit at tables grouped by professional interest or area of expertise. Participants will give a brief introduction of themselves and students will rotate from table to table every 12-15 minutes. If you would like to join, please RSVP at the link above by Wednesday, October 4.

Oktoberfest Happy Hour

Date: Thursday, October 12, 2017

Time: 5-7:30pm

Location: Dacha (1600 7th St NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20001)

Please join us at Dacha to meet and catch up with fellow alumni while celebrating Oktoberfest! Tritons new and old to the region are welcome. We're looking to strengthen the DC alumni network and really encourage you to come, even just to say "Hi!" We’ll be at a table in the back starting at 5pm and would love to see you there!

All UC Alumni Fall Mixer

Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Time: 6-10pm (specials until 10pm)

Location: Local 16 Roof Deck

The University of California Alumni chapters in DC are joining forces to bring you this event! Come celebrate with alumni, reconnect with old friends, and make a few new ones! Local 16 wll be offering extended happy hour specials until 10 pm. A portion of the sales will be donated to the UCDC Scholarship fund. Cash donations will be accepted at the sign-in table, so please bring cash if you wish to donate. We hope you will join to reconnect with UC alumni! Please pass this event along to your alumni friends.

UCDC Mentorship Program

The UCDC Mentorship Program has started up again. Sign up to mentor UCDC students and give them the boost they need to make the most of their DC experience. Registration has closed for the Fall cycle, but feel free to sign up to be considered for future cycles. The largest areas of career interest have been in law, international affairs, and social justice work.
