For appointment candidates:

Latinos who are interested in appointed government positions are invited to a reception tomorrow night (Wed., June 5) sponsored by the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda. NHLA is launching a Latino Appointments Program, led by our own UCSD alum Melody Gonzales. It says location TBD, but it's the AFL-CIO building on 16th between I and H.
