Dear All,

I am sending this email to all the UCSC contacts I have. Most of you might have got this information by now. Sometimes some email addresses may be dormant. Those who receive this, please forward to all UCSC mail groups you have access to and anybody you think would contribute to this worthy cause.

This is regarding a fund raising to help a past UCSC student called Dinelka, whose husband is undergoing surgery in India.

As you all may sometimes be aware, Dinelka's Husband is undergoing treatment in India. Two months ago an email was circulated for medical fund collection to support the treatment financially. 

Dinelka requested to Thank You All for the great help done within a very short time.

When they admitted him two months ago, he was in a critical condition and unconscious but now after FOUR Treatment Courses he has recovered and his condition has improved a lot. At the end of the 4th Injection course, the doctors reviewed the treatment and recommended another 4 more Injection Courses for the complete recovery. He is in bed now and getting treatment to get up and walk normally. 

Doctors are now preparing him for the 5th injection course.

 

We need to help Dinelka at this difficult situation to complete the recommended treatments.

As mentioned earlier, each injection course cost 500 000 LKR, therefore in total we need to rise 2 Million LKR for the remaining treatments.

Please kindly spread this message among all your batch mates,  friends and office colleagues and collect another round of contribution, It will be a great help to Dinelka at this crucial moment to continue the treatment for a full recovery.

Note that the next course is scheduled during the 1st week of January so we should inform all our friends regarding this and ask them to deposit their contributions before January 1st week 2017.
