We're open through the winter break and hope you'll visit the Seymour
Marine Discovery Center at Long Marine Lab this holiday season.
FREE extended hours: December 13 and 20, 5 - 9 PM. See the 87' blue
whale skeleton, Ms. Blue, aglow with festive lights, visit exhibits,
enjoy refreshments, and holiday music. Complimentary gift-wrapping is
provided for all purchases in the Ocean Discovery Shop.
Holiday hours: December 23, 27, 28, 29, and 30, 10 AM - 5 PM. A
special two-for-one admission coupon is available on our web site:

The Seymour Center is dedicated to educating people about the role
scientific research plays in the understanding and conservation of
the world's oceans. Designed for multi-generational interests,
children and adults can all have fun while learning about research
projects conducted by UCSC scientists.
Directions: From Santa Cruz, take Highway 1 north. Turn left on
Swift, right on Delaware, follow Delaware to the lab entrance at the
