Hello! We are pleased to announce that Stevenson College and the Environmental Studies Department will be offering internship opportunities this fall for the Stevenson Garden.
The Stevenson Garden is the first college-specific garden on the East side of campus. Supported by students from all over campus and the staff and faculty at Stevenson, the garden is looking to take on 1-4 garden coordinators to keep the garden thriving.
Interns will be responsible for:

Interns will be responsible for:
- General management of the Stevenson Garden program.
- Attending Gardener’s Alliance Gatherings and represent the Stevenson Garden’s voice in the campus wide garden commmunity.
- Attending “Path To A Greener Stevenson” (PTAGS) meetings to keep student input flowing into the garden.
- Supervising work hours at the garden site every week.
- Organizing workshops and community gatherings
- Gardening experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work independently
- Professional communication and organization skills
- A strong passion for growing food and communities
- A love to get their hands dirty and work in the earth
- Flexibility to attend early morning meetings and weekend workdays as needed
Note: 5-credit upper division options need Environmental Studies advisor.
