Hello everyone! Does anyone know what is the difference between TCGA and GDC TCGA melanoma SKCM?
I have been looking for copy number variations in melanoma chromosome6 and the results are quite different.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
The difference is between the TCGA legacy data and the TCGA data now at the GDC. https://gdc.cancer.gov/about-gdc/gdc-faqs (go down to question 'What is the difference between TCGA data available in the GDC Data Portal and TCGA data available in the GDC Legacy Archive?')
If you have any further specific questions about the difference I would recommend contacting the GDC directly: https://gdc.cancer.gov/support.
