Hello,
I noticed that the cohort size is different in Kaplan Meier curves from TCGA PAAD between downloading the counts+meta data versus using Xena's visualization page. I would appreciate any help in this matter as I'm not sure which output to use as interpretation (significance values are also affected).
Thank you!

Hi Cavina,
Can you give me a bit more information as to what you're seeing? As a first pass is this perhaps because some patients have gene expression data but no survival data? Or is it because some patients are in the KM plot on the visualization twice (once for the tumor and once for the normal https://ucsc-xena.gitbook.io/project/how-do-i/how-do-i-remove-duplicate-samples-from-a-km-plot)?
Best,
Mary
