Hi,
I was wondering how to get FC in gene expression from Log2 (norm_count +1), is it just log2 (FC) where FC = norm_count +1?
Also- how would you cite the Xena browser for the data?
Thanks!
Saumya

Hi Saumya,
For understanding what norm_count is for RSEM, I've personally found this Biostars answer to be helpful:
https://www.biostars.org/p/106127/
.
And here's some info on how to cite Xena:
https://ucsc-xena.gitbook.io/project/how-to-pages-1/untitled-2
. If you use the TOIL data, please cite their paper as well:
https://doi.org/10.1038/nbt.3772
Best,
Mary
