Sorry for the additional message guys, but I wanted to add to this:
I cannot overstate how important a good fit is. Cycling lets your body
adapt to all sorts of crappy fit, so you don't notice the damage you're
doing until you've been riding in a crap position for 6 months, and
whatever just started hurting is all messed up. At the beginning you can
get away with anything, but it's also the most important time to get
things right. Coming from someone who has struggled through all sorts of
injuries in cycling, please take this to heart: Get fit, it's worth
every penny.
And finally, if anyone can't do this, whether for financial or
scheduling reasons, I have a pretty good knowledge of a lot of fit
issues (thanks to a long struggle with some overuse injuries). I'd be
happy to give you a few pointers.
