Dear Perl participants -
This Wednesday's meeting location and the future locations will be in
the new HHMI Bioinformatics laboratory which is across the small
parking lot from Genomics in the University Laboratory Building. We
will start at 11:10 and plan to go till 12:30 since there is an
Entomology course that finished at 11AM.
Please bring your laptops if you have them, there should be amply
power plugs in this new location. There are 16 people signed up on the
mailing list, if you happen to know that someone else is interested in
this workshop feel free to have them subscribe the list and make sure
they come to the next meeting of the group. There should be enough
room for 30 people in this larger room.
The schedule for the curriculum/outline of the topics we'll do for
this quarter is still being developed - it will depend on how fast
everyone comes up to speed. For those who are further along in their
programming skills and would like to wait to attend until we have
reached more advanced topics, let me know and we can give you a sense
of when we are closer to this.
Thanks.
