New Report and Resources for Virginians to Cut Poverty and Inequality
What: You’re invited to join a call with the Center for American Progress Action Fund and leading Virginia experts to preview a new CAPAF report about state level policies and actions to reduce poverty and inequality in the state.
Why: With skyrocketing income inequality, an unacceptably high poverty rate, and an economy that simply isn’t working for everyone, states legislatures can, should, and are taking action to create progressive policy change to help families make ends meet. On the call, experts will explain the findings of the report for Virginia, review what’s to come in the upcoming legislative session, and provide tools and action steps for advocates to make change and reduce poverty and inequality in Virginia.
Who:
Jeff Connor-Naylor – Program Director, The Commonwealth Institute
