General Body Meeting and Muhammad Awareness Week

We hope you are all having a great semester and that classes are going well!

Considering that it has been a while since our first general body meeting, we will be hosting another general body meeting next Thursday, November 15 at the ICUC (Islamic Center of UConn, a.k.a. the masjid). There will be free food from Husky Pizza!

At the meeting, there will be several updates regarding what the board and MSA have been doing all semester, and we will also discuss the upcoming Muhammad Awareness Week, which will be on the week of November 26 (the week we come back from Thanksgiving break). Note that on Thursday of Muhammad Awareness Week, November 29, the MSA will be hosting From Darkness to Light: Muhammad and His Message with guest speaker John Starling, a dinner (similar to our past Hajj Awareness Dinners) in the Alumni Center. Bring all your non-Muslim and Muslim friends!
