Iftar, Qiyam, Shakes & Sweets for Syria, End-of-year BBQ, Elections

Iftar, Halaqah, and Qiyam Night

Join us this Thursday, April 11th, at the masjid to eat some free food (catered Desi food will be served!), learn from the verses of Allah at our brother's Halaqah, and Qiyam, which is essentially another word for Taraveeh (which you are likely familiar with from Ramadan). 

The iftar will be after Maghrib at 7:30pm, and Qiyam will be after Isha, which is at 9:00pm. 
 
Shakes and Sweets for Syria

Syria needs YOUR help; the situation there is still in dire need of assistance. UConn MSA invites you to do your part for the crisis. Stop by the entrance of the Homer Babbage Library from 12:00-5:00pm on Wednesday, April 17th to enjoy a variety of ice-cream milkshakes and desserts! Click here for the Facebook event!

End of Year BBQ

As a way to have some fun before we get ready for exams, in sha Allah, we plan on having a barbeque at the Mansfield Hallow Dam on Friday, April 26th right after Jumm'ah until Maghrib.

Elections!

As the year comes to a close, its time to elect the new leaders of the MSA!
  
There are seven available positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Brothers Activities, Sisters Activities, and Da'wah Chair. We are also considering Public Relations, so feel free to nominate someone for this role too.
