In regards to the email about the haram veggie patty at Subway, that was sent out by accident. It is not appropriate for this mailing list, and inshAllah that doesn't happen again. The MSA does not support or back the email in any way (as to whether that particular food is haram or not is also something that we ourselves did not confirm, and the topic of halal and haram in general is best left to scholars).
