Dear Colleagues

There was a querry : how to know the custid from a mobile number? For that I used the menu option CUS and in the next page used the mobile number in the phone field. But here the solid is mandatory. So I had to put one solid.
Let us take an example:
Suppose my mobile number is 1234567890, this mob no is used in more than one custid,i.e this number has been mentioned in my custid and wrongly mentioned in another custid and that custid has no account with us/had account with us but transferred later on to other sol. When any credit/debit is made in the account with other custid, I am getting the message. In the IRPS home page there is an option to know the customer id but here also the solid is mandatory. Also the message which is sent to the mobile number does not contain the full account number, only the first four digit(solid) and the last four digit, like 0098XXXXXX4313 and also the scheme type is not mentioned  "your account number 0098XXXXXX4313 has been credited with Rs.200/- by transfer". In this regard I had requested CBS cell to know the details but the staff at CBS cell also expressed their inability. I was asked to mention that particular mobile number so that the details could be found out at back end.But it is not the solution to the problem raised.

Has anybody any other solution to this type of querry?

Sanjeev ji, please wait for a day or two. Myself and sankar will do some research and try to find the solution. Mean while other faculties can also try to find a solution.
Regards
Jegadish.
