Hi Linux Enthusiasts & Open Source Advocates,
I have learned of a new Linux distro (for me anyway) which hails out of the Isle of Man and is based on Debian and XUbuntu Linux. The distro is Modicia OS Linux 22.14.5 based on XUbuntu 22.04 LTS.
Recently, I
published a video that gives you a preview of this Simple Linux distro for Linux Professionals. I'm running the Ultimate (Community) version, but there are others, such as Enterprise, Professional and Office 360 (designed for the mid-range small business). The Enterprise, Professional, and Office 360 are open source, but NOT FREE, as they require you to pay a fee for support. The Ultimate Community edition, however, is totally FREE and support comes from the Community.
Originally, I installed Modicia Ultimate OS Linux in Virtman (a hypervisor running on QEMU/KVM) and was so blown away with what I saw and what you get out of the box, that it's now proudly installed on bare metal on my Acer Aspire laptop.
I highly encourage you to give this Linux distro (Modicia Ultimate) a spin. I think you'll make this your daily driver.
