I definitely think the more LUGs the better.
I see a challenge with youtube channels and podcasts competing for
content attention.
And then, is there interest in attending something in person (COVID
feels like it has muted that desire in a good percentage of those that
would come out...Mostly I think it is inertia?)?

It seems like CLUG folded some time ago (I can't find any trace of it after 2014), but I think it would be a great way for students interested in Linux/free software to get together and do cool stuff. I even have a couple of servers that could be dedicated to the cause, but I am trying to figure out if there is any interest.
