The wiki logo does not render properly on the UCLUG Group website. Could the person who manages this site check into this and fix it? Thanks. (See attached screenshot).

The logo was on uclug.org but uclug.org is no longer accessible. There was an update according to whois on 02/10/2026 and according to whois it belongs to someone in
Reykjavik Iceland. Anyone know anything about this?

When I click on the URL link, it reports the site cannot be reached. Whoever maintains this Google Group should be able to remove the link to the image or replace it.

confirming I also can't get to it, looks like maybe the domain name lapsed and someone else registered it.

whois info shows updated Feb 10th.

Not sure who was maintaining the domain name? Jeremy maybe?

But it also shows as being good until March 7th. I think it was. So what happened?

That doesn't really matter. Who maintains the Google Group? Not the website. That individual should be able to replace the logo or simply take it down.

Well i think the website being gone is another concern ;)

Jas or Ben or Rick I think has access to the googlegroups admin - I think maybe Rick based on the vent cleaning messages from late last year that I think he took care of.

The logo itself is only visible if you're using the website to access the emails, using thunderbird and don't even see it.

As far as the logo, wayback machine FTW :)

Looks like they captured the site in October :

Looks like the image at the top is just a generic google groups png  - direct link to it (via wayback machine) is :

George Law & Vaughan Schmidt,

The logo at the top of our Group page when you click on it indicates it is the wikilogo.png, not the generic Google Group logo. Just so you know.
