Yes, you're probably deep in your exams, dissertations, work, or own personal crises - but what better way to relax than by melting metal and reshaping it according to your will? Plus, you get to take home what you make. Check out our plans for the makespace, too!

Time: Regular Wed afternoon slot, 5.30-7.00

Date: 2nd May

Location: The loading bay of Malet Place Engineering Building (between the entrance to MPEB and the DMS Watson library) - future location of makespace, and importantly home of of concrete floors and good ventilation.

Activity: See plans for future location, tools, layout.. Carve cuttlebones (yes, the ones beloved of canaries) to shape of choice, melt metal, fill mould with metal, claim prize.
