We are back. Our space is in progress (
check out the building work going on), the
Institute of Making are living it up with displays, exhibitions and demos all over the place, and we have a
programme of events to keep your little hands and minds busy until January, whereupon we move into our new lab/workshop/kitchen/makespace with much fanfare. And then things get rather more elaborate.
Autumn Term EventsWe'll be running our regular weekly meet-up-and-make sessions in Room 422, Roberts Building, Malet St (just down from the Science library..) Initially these will follow the same format of last time, with a crack team from the Institute of Making leading sessions; then after reading week we'll be asking members of the community to propose what they want to teach, and making small grants for materials and equipment. We'll round off with a Christmas Special..
Here's what you can make with us in the next months, and we look forward to seeing you on Thursdays!
